Here I am working with the composition of the planets.  The underpainting is done monochromatically and the paint is still wet.  I am working with these cut-outs of the planets because I have learned over the years that I need to know where I am going before I start.  This is much much easier than painting them in and changing my mind.  

This step is purely visual, no need to ask why.

The names of the moons are beautiful.

Calisto, Iapetus, Europa, Io, Ganymede.  

Because I am alone, I say the names out loud as I place them around the skulls.
