Wrestling with this one, I think the way in is through color, so am adding in the blacks and some color into the moons. This is helping to see what the pattern will be. It needs to be flowers, I want something that invokes earth. I think that is the tie in between the skull and the moon. Am keeping all the edges fuzzy as I go, this helps it all sit together. Later I will sharpen where needed.
